How to get Android 4.3 on Nexus devices?

It's been a while Android 4.3 has been released. Unfortunately, It's not really released as OTA update for all of the nexus devices but here is the guide that will help you get it on Nexus 4, Nexus 7, Nexus 10 and Galaxy Nexus.

  1. Firstly, check if the update is available in settings -> about phone -> system update.
  2. If you see "your system is up-to-date", proceed to next step.
  3. Navigate to settings -> applications -> all -> Google Services Framework.
  4. Clear data.
  5. Go back to the first step. Your device will show up the last check was in about 1970 (before it even existed). Tap on Check Now.
"Clear data"

Troubleshooting - Please read!

If you can't see the update available after these steps, you need to do it one more time. Sometimes, you gotta try it even three times to make the update available.

After updating, you won't be able to download apps from Google Play.
To fix this, just navigate to settings -> accounts and delete your Google account. Then add it again to make the G-Play work.
